This piece incorporates real bodhi tree leaves, which I carried with me throughout college as "good luck charms." These leaves traveled across the country with me, grounding me in my spiritual connection to nature and the sacred bodhi tree. By including them in this painting, I hope to share that sense of luck and connection with everyone who sees it.
Trees have always felt sacred and mystical to me, holding ancient wisdom and the magic of fairies. To express this, I depicted a woman with dragonfly fairy wings—a reflection of my childhood spirit and the bond between humanity and nature. This piece symbolizes coexistence and the mutual respect we share with the natural world.
