The first piece in my "Of My Heart" series honors the animals I’ve helped through conservation and the deep connections I share with them. This painting was inspired by my experience at 15, when I created a jellyfish costume out of recycled materials for the Heal The Bay aquarium on the Santa Monica Pier. Volunteering for the Ban The Plastic Bag campaign, I wanted to highlight the dangers plastic bags pose to sea turtles, which often mistake them for jellyfish. During this event, I led a Halloween parade, educated youth about ocean conservation, and even connected with Treeman from A Documentree film. A NatGeo Travel Photographer captured that moment, marking the beginning of my path as an advocate for wildlife.

The jellyfish spirit has guided me ever since, shaping my conservation work and inspiring me to help save elephants with Wim Hof and Bring The Elephant Home. Jellyfish have taught me the importance of going with the flow and being bold in creating change. Their essence is deeply woven into who I am, and through this painting, I hope to inspire others to find their flow, embrace boldness, and protect our planet. The jelly and I share the same heart—a bond that will always hold a special place in my soul.
