Inspired by my experience with California’s state fish, the Garibaldi, in the Channel Islands Marine Protected Areas, this piece is part of my "Of My Heart" collection. This series reflects my profound journey with animals, plants, and sacred places that have touched my soul through conservation efforts. Each stroke of my art tells the story of lessons learned—of going with the flow, following my heart, and embracing the deep love I share with these sacred beings.
